To ensure service security and availability Solstice owns and operates its own servers and associated hardware. All hosted solutions are supported by rigerous software security protocols, and comprehensive data back-up regime including off-site and daily tape protection.
In addition to software security, hardware provision includes raid mirroring of all disks and comprehensive key component double redundancy.
Connectivity and associated speed of access is ensured by an OC-3 line which provides a total of 155 mbps. This is equivalent to 100 T1 connections. The latency is also very low with an average of just 50ms within the UK and just 90ms trans-Atlantic.
